Apology accepted! Merry Christmas!
Sv Enterteiment: "Seems a bit biased but ok."
Yeah, sorry if that came off as a bit, well, (Checking dictionary and thesaurus for fitting word to describe it...) disconcerting and condescending in such a way that undermines the Christmas Spirit. It was supposed to be a happy comment and a joke, but in hindsight, it was a joke laced with some of my personal frustrations with the world, and it was unfair and mean-spirited of me to take my frustrations out on you guys. I hope you guys can forgive my rudeness, and next year I'll just leave it at "Merry Christmas!".
Yeah, I myself am a practicing Catholic, as are my family and some of my friends, and yes, I get that there is A LOT of criticism that Catholics get these days, and I understand why, but I promise you, Catholicism is thoroughly misunderstood. I can respect your skepticism, and I pray that things work out well for you.
If you're at least open-minded enough to humor my beliefs for a bit, I'd recommend looking up and reading some of the works of Bishop Robert Barron, Dr. Scott Hahn, and Trent Horn, all of whom do an excellent job of explaining Catholicism and answering the most often-asked questions by believers and non-believers alike. It's your choice. I just wanted to put the offer out there for you.
Either way, I'm sure we can still get along. Why have enemies when you can have friends, am I right? Merry Christmas! XD
