Oops, sorry dude. Didn’t mean to assume.😟 Please forgive me.
But yeah, long story short, The Battle of the Alamo was an important and devastating battle from the Texas Revolution, back when Texas fought for independence from Mexico. A band of Texan troops had set up a fortress in what was previously a Catholic mission, (the image I posted above.) and fought to hold back Mexican forces, but after a 13-day long struggle, they were all massacred, including folk-legend Davy Crockett!
Later on, the words, “Remember the Alamo!” became a huge battle-cry by the Texan Revolutionaries for the remainder of the War, and is a big part of Texas History and Culture.
Obviously there’s a lot more details and stuff, but that’s more or less what happened. But yeah, sorry if I was annoying you, and I hope you find this brief history-lesson interesting.👍
