Abstract is the Omnitrix's DNA sample of a Xuslit from the destroyed planet Polegeil in 5 Years Later.
Appearance[]
Abstract is a quartz-humanoid alien with a radiant, rainbow-colored body. His limbs glow with warm colors like red, orange, and yellow, fading into cool blues and purples at his core. His body is sleek and fluid, with elongated limbs and glowing green eyes. His uniform consists of black shorts, with green and white stripes.
The Omnitrix symbol is located on his left pec.
Abilities[]
- Mirrorscape - Abstract has the ability to pass through any reflective surface, such as mirrors, water, or shiny metals, and exit through others. The nether space between reflective entry points is its own pocket dimension, or a 'Mirrorscape'. The Mirrorscape constantly changes, becoming a perfect reflection of the outside world upon entry, and vanishes upon exit.
- Only Xuslits have access to the Mirrorscape, outsiders can be brought through if contact is initiated with a Xuslit upon entry.
- Body Reformation - If Abstract were to shatter, and his shards were separated, his body will literally pull itself back together until he is completely reformed. He can also choose the shape his new body takes.
- Enhanced Agility - Abstract is very light weight, paired along with his thin frame grants him increased levels of mobility, allowing him to evade attacks and jump high into the air.
Weaknesses[]
- Limited Portal Access - Abstract cannot enter portals that are too small for his body. He also cannot exit through the same portal if it has been destroyed or blocked. Although he can teleport, his ability has limited range and cannot be used for interstellar travel.
- Fragile Body - Abstract's body is brittle and can be shattered easily.
- Limited Mass Control - While Abstract can reform and reposition parts of his body, he lacks full control over his form. He cannot shapeshift, expand, or shrink his overall mass.
- Magical/Cosmic Beings - Entities with strong magical or reality-warping powers can track or follow Abstract through his reflective portals.
Mythology[]
The Xuslit were once a species native to the planet Polegeil, a planet resembling a giant geode, orbiting between its two moons. Polegeil is made of several types of rock and minerals, including quartz crystal, and has two asteroid belts that circle the planet. How everything was maintained for so long is believed to be due to exposure to tachyon radiation, likely from powerful machines tested around the planet a millennia ago. The quartz material in one of the larger asteroids absorbed the radiation, transforming it from a basic asteroid field into a functioning planet with its own life. This would also explain the properties of the main intelligent species, the Xuslit, who maintain a quartz-based physiology and possess the ability to travel through reflective surfaces. Most species on the planet were either super durable or super light, the latter applying to the Xuslit, due to the planet's two moons causing Polegeil to have increased gravity.
The Xuslit are a curious people with diverse appearances, ranging in all kinds of colors, exaggerated body proportions, and shapes. They’re also very creative, building all kinds of quartz statues and panel art across their planet.
Things changed as both of the planet's asteroid fields began to destabilize and tear the planet apart. In an attempt to save themselves, the Xuslit used durable walls of reflective quartz as a form of vehicle and bunker, allowing them to survive the planet's destruction—but in the process, they were sent flying through space without a way to land for years. Most Xuslit that actually land on a planet or surface are incredibly lucky, while others continue to drift through space. A surviving group of various Xuslit eventually landed on a faraway planet known as Earth, where they were discovered by the planet's inhabitants. They initially caused chaos out of fear and isolation but were caught and calmed down by the local Plumbers of that area and later integrated into Earth society. One of these Xuslit, Porce' Lene, used this experience to create more complex and beautiful quartz sculptures, becoming a great artist in the scene.
Originally, the Xuslit reproduced by piecing together several parts of a special type of quartz unique to their planet, then leaving it to slowly absorb trace amounts of tachyon radiation on Polegeil. The quartz would start as a grey color, slowly transforming into a wide range of colors before eventually becoming another Xuslit. While this style of reproduction was viable on Polegeil, the planet's destruction means there’s currently no way to gather the unique quartz crystal or harness its energy. As a result, any surviving Xuslit are now part of the last generation.
