Arktus is the Omnitrix's DNA sample of an Icical Mammothoid from the planet Glacirra in 5 Years Later.
Appearance[]
Arktus is a muscular humanoid alien resembling a mammoth. His torso, forearms, and feet are covered in white fur while the rest of his body shows more grey skin; parts of his flesh are exposed revealing his decay and bones. His tusks are made of ice and he wears a black and green mask over his face.
The Omnitrix symbol is located on his forehead.
Abilities[]
- Cryokinesis- Arktus can create and manipulate ice in various ways.
- Freezing Stomps- Slamming the ground with his powerful legs creates a freezing shockwave, immobilizing foes and freezing the surrounding environment.; every time he takes a step, a thin layer of ice is left in his tracks.
- Glacial Aura- Arktus has a passive ability that lowers the temperature around him, making it difficult for others to approach without specialized equipment.
- Ice Constructs- Arktus’ exposed skeletal frame becomes encased in thicker ice during combat, acting as armor and weapons.
- Enhanced Strength- Arktus has immense strength, allowing him to lift objects several times his own weight.
- Regeneration (via Ice)- Any damage Arktus recieves is turned into ice thanks to the low temperature of his body.
Weaknesses[]
- Intense Heat- Arktus is highly susceptible to heat and fire. Prolonged exposure to high temperatures can destabilize his icy armor and slow his regeneration. Intense heat can even cause the ice encasing his body to crack, exposing fragile skeletal remains. This also cancels his ability to regenerate, and it's the best for Ben to either change his form or to be transported to cold places.
- Exposed Skeleton- Arktus’ skeleton is quite fragile, so any impact on his bones can cause them to break.
- Limited Agility- Due to his large size, heavy build, and stiff icy frames, Arktus is not agile. While he is powerful in open spaces, he struggles in confined areas or against nimble opponents who can evade his slower attacks.
Mythology[]
The Icical Mammothoids and their home planet Glacirra at first never had any connection to ice and cold. It is currently unknown how their species looked and how it was named millions of years ago, as all of their known history comes from oldest members of their species. What is known, is that this once peaceful planet met one of the biggest ice ages the Milky Way has ever seen. The whole world was frozen in seconds, turning every inhabitant into ice. They were in this state for a very long time, before a species of scientists found Glacirra and saved them. Unfortunately during the meltdown, every piece of their history was destroyed and ice became a permanent part of their planet. Now, all Icical Mammothoids want is to be left alone. They are very protective and they will defend their home at any cost from the rest of the galaxy.

- Arktus' concept is heavily based on the Mammoths Tribe from Legends of Chima.
- Name Arktus is combination of "Arktyka" (Arctic in Polish) and "tusk".
- Arktus was supposed to be named "Mammo", due to overwhelming personality that made Ben dumber in this transformation, but this concept was scrapped.
