Bugsaw is the Omnitrix's DNA sample of a Mantoviden from the planet Savanarr in 5 Years Later.
Appearance[]
Bugsaw is a pale yellow and pink insectoid alien with long antennae. He has metal, serrated, yellow blades protruding from his head, back, forearms, and legs that resemble saw blades. His front legs can come out from his thighs and has numerous vents around his body.
The Omnitrix is located on his chest.
Abilities[]
- Retractable Blades- The sharp, serrated blades that adorn Bugsaw's body vibrate at a speed to make them seem like they’re spinning and can cut through almost anything.
- Kinetic Absorption and Redirection- For anything Bugsaw cuts through, his blades charge up with kinetic energy, which he can redistribute in a spinning, disc-like projectile.
- These blasts can be more concentrated by striking their blades against each other.
- Enhanced Jumping- Due to his relatively long, bladed legs, Bugsaw can jump extremely long distances.
- The more kinetic energy Bugsaw builds up, the higher he can jump, leaving behind a shockwave.
- Enhanced Durability- Bugsaw's Nepodium exoskeleton is durable enough to withstand heavy impacts.
- Enhanced Reflexes- Bugsaw can make quick movements and dodge attacks.
- Wall Crawling- The blades on his legs can dig into hard surfaces, allowing Bugsaw to scale walls and other tall structures.
- Terminal Velocity Negation- Bugsaw’s bladed legs prevent him from taking any damage or injury and leave no trace of sound upon falling.
- Skilled Combatant- Bugsaw is very skilled in hand-to-hand combat.

Mythology[]
The planet of Savanarr is enriched with a pure, unbreakable metal called Nepodium that can absorb, store, and redirect kinetic energy. Many species on the planet were affected by the abundance of this metal, which eventually merged with all life. Infused with this metal, tribal civilizations sprung up across the planet, one of the most notable of which are the Mantoviden, known to be cunning warriors and masters of stealth. Their unique evolution from Nepodium gave their exoskeletons blades, in which they can vibrate to a speed to make them look like they’re spinning. Harnessing the Nepodium, they possessed internally alongside that they obtained from the planet's natural resources for tools and weapons. Not only do the Mantoviden use their blades for offense, they also use them for crafting, thanks to the serrated edges given to make precise cuts.
The tribes mine the Nepodium using their blades, as the only thing capable of cutting through the metal is the metal itself. It has since been used in vast societies and technologies classified as Level 9. The Mantoviden tribe has a rivalry with the Machetidae tribe, fighting over property and land where they would like to mine Nepodium for themselves.

- Bugsaw's bladed limbs and powers are inspired by the Mantis Blades from Cyberpunk 2077, Denji from Chainsaw Man, and the Long Fall Boots from Portal.
- Bugsaw is from the same planet as Kleaver.
- Bugsaw speaks with a Japanese accent.
- Mantoviden is a portmanteau of "mantodea" (the scientific name for mantis) and "viden" (the Latin word for saw).
