Cerebrocrustacean are a species from the planet Encephalonus IV in the Krillian System in the Ben 10 Universe.
Appearance[]
Cerebrocrustaceans are large hexapedal arthropods standing between 3 to 6 feet tall. Most of their body's muscle and tissue is extremely weak, but their brains are protected by a highly dense shell.
Cerebrocrustaceans have two arms extending from its upper body, which end in pincers, and six legs with spike-like feet extending from its lower body. Its body is scattered with spikes, and black joints connect its limbs.
The males are usually orange in color and possess a more rounded head shape, while the females are predominantly turquoise blue with more oval-shaped heads.
Abilities[]
- Enhanced Intellect - The Cerebrocrustacean has one of the highest IQ's in the galaxy, inferior to nothing but a Galvan. However their brain is much faster given the insane amount of electrical synapses firing at once. Giving them the ability to outthink anything in a microsecond.
- Electrokinesis - The Cerebrocrustacean can emit electricity from their exposed brain, giving them several electrical based abilities.
- Electromagnetic Levitation - Using the electrical currents in the air, the Cerebrocrustacean can levitate and gain the higher ground against an opponent.
- Electric Telekinesis - The Cerebrocrustacean is capable of lifting objects using electrokinesis; they can also control technology using this ability.
- Force-Field Generation - The Cerebrocrustacean can create a protective barrier made of energy.
Weaknesses[]
- Fragile Brain - If something manages to strike a Cerebrocrustacean in the brain while exposed, it can cause severe pain or even death.
- Vicetopus - The Vicetopus is the Cerebrocrustacean's natural predator, being able to break their protective shells and completely resist their electric based attacks.
- Brain Synapses - A Cerebrocrustacean is incapable of tampering with other beings' thoughts.
History and Society[]
Cerebrocrustaceans were the first species in their system to achieve interplanetary travel, thanks to their enhanced intellect, which has simplified their way of life. They have even developed technology to artificially manipulate the weather, eliminating the need for breathing braces to survive. The most influential member of this species was none other than Kusen Encephalonus, founder of The Cerebrus Cast, the governing body of the entire Krillian System. The Cerebrocrustaceans live under the political rule of the Cerebrus Cast.
