Major Events[]

  • Addwaiyta crash lands on the surface of X'Nelli, next to the Totem Cradle. He then lifts the guardian deity of the planet, Manzardill, out of the depths of the biggest volcano there, and absorbs their Mana, killing the deity and creating a cataclysm on the planet.
  • Horas V04 (aka 4oras) witnesses the destruction and gains the desire to live despite it, unknowingly reactivating his teleportation, resulting in him surviving the destruction and ending up on a technologically advanced planet.

Mythology[]

Clockwork
Clockwork is at work here, the missing information will be filled out in due time!
  • X'Nelli, similar to Earth, has a diverse array of biomes which not only makes it a popular interplanetary tourist spot, but also means its dominant group, the Manzardill, come in a diverse array of forms and populate the planet's numerous ecosystems.
    • The Manzardill are named after their guardian deity of the same name. The Manzardill's planet-wide belief system contains the idea that each species of Manzardill resembles one of the forms that their multi-elemental god can take at any given moment.
  • The major biomes of the planet and their respective dominant Manzardill are as follows:
    • The Polar Peaks
      • Populated by the Polar Manzardill
        • Polar Manzardill are warm-blooded creatures who are comfortable in the colder environment.
        • With the aid from their temperature regulating hypothermus, they can inhale water vapor and exhale blasts of icy air, which the average Polar Manzardill will use to ice sculpt and perform other recreational activities.
      • The Polar Manzardill of the Polar Peaks live in an agricultural society, farming cold-resistant root vegetables inside of caves.
        • These farmers use a technique called Steam Rooting, where they allow their crops to grow over natural hot springs, purifying the vegetables of toxins and cooking them simultaneously.
    • Plummet Ridge
      • Populated by the Talus Manzardill
        • Similarly to the Polar Manzardill, they are warm-blooded and are thus comfortable by the colder temperatures of the windy mountains.
        • Talus Manzardill are covered in a thick layer of stonelike scales and have a protective layer of fat underneath.
        • Talus Manzardill hunt by clinging to a mountain, camouflaged, and leaping onto flying prey midair and tumbling to the ground. The Manzardill is protected by their scales and survives this fall.
      • Talus Manzardill are most well known for their mineral mining culture, which they can easily perform in the dark thanks to their echolocation.
        • Some Talus Manzardill have also made a business out of giving guided tours of the beautiful gemstone caves they have found whilst mining.
    • Sluice Slopes
      • Populated by the Mire Manzardill
        • Also warm-blooded, they keep cool via bathing in the mountain slush runoff.
        • They are able to inhale mud with their gills to blast it out of their mouth, and in turn can consume the stuff to propel it through their gills.
        • They also eat mud.
      • Mudslide racing and other sporting competitions are hosted by the local Mire Manzardill, who have a natural advantage in these activities due to their slippery scale texture.
    • Jungles of HowkTohu
      • Populated by the Tropic Manzardill
        • Moderately cold-blooded, which is well suited for life in the humid heat of the jungles.
        • These Manzardill feast upon Ama-kian fruit, not only because they like the taste, but because they can pack their throat pouches with the stuff, allowing them to spit out jelly-like webbing to capture other prey and aid them in their day-to-day life.
      • Music is popular within the various Tropic Manzardill communities on the planet, and they use their sticky jelly to construct instruments.
        • These instruments create a unique distorted, jumpy sound, which is a staple in the local Tounge-gaere music genre.
    • The Sand Skirt
      • Populated by the Coastal Manzardill
        • Another species of warm-blooded Manzardill who spend most of their time in the water.
        • Similarly to the Mire Manzardill, Coastal Manzardill intake water and propel it through their gills.
        • One of the two purely carnivorous Manzardill, Coastals hunt by quickly ambushing their prey and drowning them.
          • While they mainly eat sea creatures, they also subsist their diet on birds.
        • Coastals are typically friendly and relaxed, commonly spotted drifting on the ocean's surface.
        • While they can't breathe underwater, they can hold their breath for hours at a time, although it's theorized that this frequent lack of oxygen intake results in them acting (ironically) airheaded.
      • The Sand Skirt is the longest stretch of beach in four galaxies, as it wraps around the entire planet's circumference.
    • The Night Sea
      • Populated by the Submar Manzardill
        • These are the largest species of Manzardill, growing up to 17 feet long.
        • They breathe air, but can hold their breath indefinitely, only surfacing when asleep.
        • While they are cold-blooded, their hypothermus constantly emits heat to the point where the normally freezing temperatures of the deep sea are heated to a near boil when in proximity to a Submar.
          • This heat also allows them to melt rock and other obstacles.
        • The average Submar lives to be thousands of years old, proven by carbon dating their obsidian scales.
          • It is believed they were the first species of Manzardill to emerge on X'Nelli.
      • The Night Sea consists of numerous cenote caves protected by a thick volcanic glass.
        • Populated by the Subter Manzardill
          • Small and cold-blooded, they need strong heat sources such as hydrothermal vents that appear within their cave systems.
          • Biologically underdeveloped, the Subter lack most of the evolutionary traits other Manzardills have.
          • Diet mainly consists of the light-emitting fungus known as Bogglow.
            • Eating this fungus gives them 20/20 night vision and bioluminescence.
        • Subter and Submar Manzardill have a mutualistic symbiotic relationship. They explore unknown corners of the ocean together, with the Submar providing heat, and the Subter providing light.
    • Fung Gully
      • Populated by the Fung Manzardill
        • Fung Manzardill are rather small and are covered in bioluminescent oil patches.
        • The Fung Manzardill consume multiple different types of fungus that thrive in the gully and store it in their throat pouch, which creates a powerful hallucinogen that they can expel.
          • Being herbivores, the Fung Manzardill use this ability recreationally, crafting psychedelic art with powerful hallucinogens that look as if they come to life, should one get too close.
      • Fung Gullies are pockets of fungal forests that form between mountains.
        • These gullies are very hot and moist, and the local fungus can cause drowsiness.
        • There are a plethora of fungus species, which are enjoyed by its native Manzardill residents.
    • Fire Iron Dunes
      • Populated by the Torrid Manzardill
        • Cold blooded, but externally heated by their burning hypothermus. This internal heat is used to allow the Torrid Manzardill to breathe fire or superheat their fin scales.
        • Being the other purely carnivorous species of Manzardill, the Torrids spend their days swimming through the sand, specifically hunting species with flammable fur or feathers to cook.
          • This restriction is not out of survival, rather it is largely self-imposed for the sake of fun and taste.
        • The Torrids nestle underground to stay warm during cold nights, which traps their body heat in the sand, creating comfort. They wake up during the noon once it gets hot enough for them to be out and about.
    • Totem Cradle
      • Populated by the Slag Manzardill
        • The Slag Manzardill are tall, bipedal beings with incredibly cold blood, making them consume the surrounding molten rock which they store within themselves.
          • The magma they store can be dispensed as magma bubbles which can be created at any size and density, allowing these bubbles to have an incredibly versatile array of uses, such as construction, craftsmanship, and power generation.
      • The Totem Cradle is a large volcanic mountain believed to be the birthplace of all Manzardill, and thus has plenty of religious significance to the natives of the world.
        • Once a week, the Slag Manzardill residents perform a ritualistic show at the mouth of the crater, dancing and releasing thousands of magma bubbles in the sky to represent the life their creator deity brought to their planet. This show is popular with tourists.
      • The creator god of the various Manzardill on the planet (Also called Manzardill) resides within the core of this volcano.
