Funguy is the Omnitrix's DNA sample of a Joh and Toh subspecies of Shiitakan from the planet Flors Aspense in 5 Years Later.
Appearance[]
Joh Funguy resembles a cyclopean humanoid mushroom. His feet look similar to roots, and his body is orange on the lower half of his body, fading into white towards the head. There are various red vine growths and mushrooms coming out of his body.
The Omnitrix is located on the top of his mushroom cap.
Toh Funguy resembles a humanoid mushroom with a white body. He has two green eyes protruding on the front of his mushroom cap. He has two red mushroom caps with white spots on his shoulders. There are various pores on both of his arms.

Abilities[]
- Hallucinogenic Spores (Joh)- Funguy secretes spores from his body that create hallucinations and illusions.
- Laughter Inducing Spores (Toh)- Funguy secretes spores from his body that induce uncontrollable laughter upon anyone that comes in contact with.
- Regeneration- Funguy’s body will regrow severed or damaged limbs instantly.
Weaknesses[]
- Water- Funguy’s spores can easily be washed off with water, getting rid of its effects.
- Fire and Ice- Due to his plant physiology, Funguy is extremely weak to fire and ice.
Mythology[]
Funguy’s homeworld, Flors Aspense is the sister planet to Flors Verdance, the homeworld of Wildvine.
Funguy’s race, the Shiitakens use their spores as a medicinal drug. However, it is illegal to sell it off-world.
History[]
Ben named him Funguy during the space road trip, when after scanning the DNA sample, he and the rest of the team accidentally inhaled the spores and hallucinated and laughed for a few hours.

- Joh Funguy’s concept is heavily inspired by Shroomboom from the Skylanders series.
- This alien was created prior to Thomas Perkins' Funguy transformation. There is no link between them.
- Captain Eon was given permission by Thomas Perkins himself to have both of their designs become coexisting subspecies to each other in 5 Years Later.
- Funguy's homeworld, Flors Aspense, is based on aspen; a type of fungus.
- Funguy was featured in the video Can A Non-Ben 10 Fan Guess Real or Fake Aliens? (Drinking Game), alongside Oream, Laugh Bandit, Slobbarrage, StarFissure, and Archeagle, as examples of the many fan submitted aliens drawn by Kuro.
