Khyber the Huntsman is the overarching antagonist of And Beyond alongside Zs'Skayr and Addwaitya, first appearing in Episode 12: Appoplexia. He is a mercenary and serial killer who hunts down the toughest and the most dangerous species across the entire galaxy.
Appearance[]
Ever since Khyber was exposed to unprotected energy from the Nemetrix, he has mutated into an amalgamation of the device's ten different predators. He retains a humanoid silhouette with turquoise skin, a massive angular jaw featuring external teeth, and sunken black eyes with red pupils. Gills adorn the sides of his jaw, and he has short black hair and a distinct nose.
Part of his face is fused with that of the Tyrannopede, giving him bright red skin and a volcano-like growth atop his head. His torso and right forearm are covered in the creamy orange skin of the Slamworm, which has swirling purple lines and back quills. Additionally, a leg from the Omnivoracious is growing out from him. The right side of his lower jaw and right shoulder exhibit traits from the Crabdozer. His left arm primarily consists of DNA from the Terroranchula, with spider legs emerging from his left shoulder, while Vicetopus' tentacles are visible on his left forearm and tail. His right calf is infused with characteristics from Hypnotick, including wings and nozzles, whereas his left calf carries traits from the Panuncian. Khyber also possesses Panuncian's spiked tail wrapped in Vicetopus' tentacles. Additionally, his body is covered in Mucilator's sacs and Buglizard's spikes.
Khyber wears a cloak made from Appoplexian fur, a brown utility belt, and black pants with red rings. He also appears to wear his old suit under his mutated flesh, like a grey gauntlet on his right forearm.
Personality[]
Ever since he mutated, Khyber seems to be less focused and more deranged than before, likely due to his flesh being fused with his suit and thus putting him in eternal pain. This is suggested by his voice, which has become more raspy, and his confusion about the home planet of the Cerebrocrustaceans, indicating that he still suffers from brain damage after transforming into Tyrannopede. Nevertheless, Khyber maintains his serious, calm, and no-nonsense demeanor, viewing his brutal and savage kills as a recreational challenge.
Abilities[]
- Ultrasonic Whistle: Khyber can emit ultrasonic frequencies from his mouth and gills, which he once used to nearly paralyze Wildmutt with from far distance.
- Enhanced Intelligence: Khyber has lots of experience fighting variety of species across the universe, with his former ship containing body parts of a Vulpimancer, a Geochelone Aerios, an Appoplexian, a Talpaedan, a Vaxasaurian, an Evolved Vaxasaurian, Crabdozers, and other unidentified creatures.
- Enhanced Strength: Khyber is immensely strong, being able to casually rip off an Appoplexian's face off and crush its skull. His strength likely increased to enormous degree thanks to DNA of several powerful predators.

- Spaceship: Khyber has a spaceship, which he used to travel from Appoplexia to Encephalonus IV within hours.
- Custom Rifle: Khyber has a custom rifle, which he used to shoot a Horas drone with.
Weaknesses[]
- Short Temper: Having history of prideful kills of many dangerous species even before his mutation, Khyber tends to react with aggression to any insults directed at him.
