Mawmeleon is the Omnitrix's DNA sample of a Tartarrion Mawful from the planet Gnasher in 5 Years Later.
Appearance[]
Mawmeleon is a rotund chameleon-like alien whose body is lined with various jaws lining their rounded body. From the rounded jaws on the sides of their bodies come muscular teeth tipped tongues that act as his legs while a jaw from the back produces blind secondary head full of teeth, a jaw from their backlashes out with a smaller barbed tongue, and finally they have a chameleon like head featuring 3 jagged horns and a set of jagged spines that run down their back.
The Omnitrix symbol is located on his upper forehead.
Abilities[]
- Ball Form- Mawmeleon can form into a ball, but they have no control over where the ball rolls.
- Prehensile tongues- From the jaws on his back Mawmeleon can produce barbed tongues which are commonly used to control their ball forms momentum turning them into a wrecking ball.
- Prehensile Teeth- Mawmeleon can freely move their teeth this ability is commonly used on their leg and arm limbs in order to allow them to manipulate objects.
- Limb Swapping- Mawmeleon can produce any limb from any of the various jaws that line his body.
- Swimming- Mawmeleon possess an impressive lung capacity and ability to manipulate their own buoyancy.
Weaknesses[]
- Heat- Due to Mawmeleon's body being composed of a lot of tongue like appendages, intense heat can dry him out and cause him problems with moving his limbs.
- Uncontrollable Ball form- Without a point to anchor himself to with a tongue, Mawmeleon's ball form has no way to direct itself.
Mythology[]
A Tartarrion Mawful from the planet Gnasher, are a species of maw-covered chameleon-like aliens who live in herds led by a Matriarch, an old female that can no longer reproduce. They live feeding on decaying corpses in their valley-like home. Their tails are meant to mimic the appearance of a Venomous Serpent found among their corpse ridden home. The males look after the children while the bigger, bulkier females go out to collect food, using their strength to drag multiple larger corpses back to the herd.
Their diet is mostly dead meat and fungus to help digest the meat (The fungus reproduces in stomach acid and then leaves the body to spread to new areas).
They live only in the areas with a steady supply of corpses although some of them have moved to coastal areas where the males, due to their smaller frame have become the main food suppliers by making use of an ability unique to them as the females aren't great at "Swimming" while the males are actually dangerously fast swimmers which makes them great fishers, although these herds have become more unique as the males developed more swordfish-like traits and stronger lungs.
Their traditional canyon homes are a dumping ground for the species that live above the canyon, it is also a resting place for a species of amphibious whales that drag themselves on land at the end of their life and drag themselves as far in land as possible as with their death comes new life as their offspring hatches inside them and eats its way out and then make the journey back to the ocean. Its actually these "Tadpoles" that are the "Venomous Serpents" the Tartarrion Mawful's tail mimics. These tadpoles would be quickly devoured by birds if they didn't start deep in land to feed and a metamorphosis into their ocean living state. If a Matriarch stumbles upon these tadpoles, she will adopt them leaving the herd to journey with them to the ocean using her tail to teach them how to hunt, once she reaches the ocean she shall pass on and become food for the sea continuing the cycle.

Trivia[]
- Tartarrion Mawful is composed of the words "Tartarus" + "carrion" and "maw" + "awful".
- Female Tartarrion Mawfuls can not swim instead they have far increased density to the males causing them to sink in water, this does however lead to them being much larger than the males.
- Coastal Mawfuls are a subspecies due to having a much better developed swimming ability along with body adaptation to suit their fishing lifestyle.
- Their laughter comes off as disturbing to other species as it is a a noisy, gleeful laugh or a chortle.
