Paxton Lee was contacted by Kuro to audition for Ben Tennyson after he saw Paxton's voice reel in a Tweet in May 2020. After sending a few audition tapes, Paxton signed on to voice 5 Years Later's rendition of Ben Tennyson for future projects, beginning with And Beyond's sixth episode, The Anur System.
