Polar Manzardill are a species of Manzardill from the planet X'Nelli in the Ben 10 Universe.

Appearance[]

Polar Manzardill are blue, quadrupedal reptilian aliens standing between four and six foot tall. They possess a bulky neck and upper body with males having 3 fins along their spine with a tiny fin on their tails. They also have 6 gill slits on the sides of their necks, large front limbs, and smaller back limbs all with 3 appendages each.

Males, aside from the fins, also possess chin whiskers and brighter blue scales while females lack the whiskers and fins, and have paler sky blue scales.

Abilities[]

  • Freeze Breath- Due to a particularly strong hypothermus organ, which regulates bodily temperature externally, by means of expectoration, Polar Manzardill breathe in water vapor through their gills, and then freeze it as they exhale, which helps them to cool down quickly. Throat pouches attached to these gills allow them to store water and release it later as freezing pressurized blasts, which the average Polar Manzardill will use to ice sculpt and perform other recreational activities.
  • Enhanced Physiology- Polar Manzardill have a large, heavy body that grants them enhanced strength, durability, and agility.
  • Environmental Tolerance- A Polar Manzardill can survive in various environments including terrestrial, aquatic, freezing and toxic ones.
  • Wall Climbing- Polar Manzardill can crawl on walls quickly.
  • Aquatic Respiration- Their gills allow Polar Manzardill to breathe underwater.

Weaknesses[]

  • Need to Breathe- If their freeze breath is used for too long, a Polar Manzardill will need to stop and catch their breath.

Society and History[]

The Polar Manzardill of the Polar Peaks are herbivorous, and live in an agricultural society, farming cold-resistant root vegetables inside of caves, which contain a chemical called Solanine, known to cause gastric distress. To prevent this, these farmers use a technique called Steam Rooting, where they allow their crops to grow over natural cave hot springs, allowing the harvestable sections of the vegetables to be cooked by the steam as they grow, purifying the vegetables of Solanine and making them ready to be consumed safely.
