Riptide is the Omnitrix's DNA sample of a Coastal Manzardill from the planet X'Nelli in 5 Years Later.
Appearance[]
Riptide is a quadrupedal semi-aquatic reptilian alien with pale blue skin and a grayish blue stomach. He has three digits on his hands and feet, two dorsal fins on the back of his head and one on his long tail. He has a girthy neck and throat with noticeable gills, a narrow head with small whiskers on his chin, and sharp teeth. Riptide wears a green and black jumpsuit that covers most of his body, leaving his fingers, toes, and neck bare. His stomach is white while he wears a pair of black goggles with blue lenses over his green eyes.
The Omnitrix symbol is located on his stomach.
Abilities[]
- Pressurized Water Blasts - Coastal Manzardill use their gills reciprocally to propel themselves through the ocean and into the air at high speeds.
- Enhanced Swimming - Their tales, fins, and webbed feet and hands make them very suitable for swimming.
- Enhanced Respiratory System - Coastal Manzardill are very good at holding their breath, only needing to surface every few hours for air.
- Slippery Skin - Riptide has a slippery body, allowing him to have greater mobility.
- Enhanced Strength - Riptide as immense strength, allowing him to lift objects several times his own weight.
Weaknesses[]
- Need for Air - Though Coastal Manzadrill spend most of the time underwater, they cannot actually breathe underwater, and must surface for air every few hours.

- Riptide is the seventh out of the original Manzardill species to be drawn as one of Ben's aliens.
- It is theorized that Riptide's laid back personalities and averagely low intelligence is due to the low amount of oxygen that gets to their brain.
- Ben 23 has his own version of Riptide, which he named SurfFin.
