A Scouter appears as a semi-transparent colored monocle that covers the left eye.
Functions
- A Scouter's primary purpose is to calculate the individual power level or ki concentration of biological characters by converting the readings into numbers.
History
After successfully defending their planet from the intergalactic conqueror Freeza and his army, the Saiyans reverse engineered and mass-produced the Scouter devices worn by them that they recovered after their victory, using them to monitor the Ki levels of those still learning to control it, so they don't overwhelm themselves.
