Smashteroid is the Omnitrix's DNA sample of a Chladnilean from Deep Space in 5 Years Later.
Appearance[]
Smashteroid is literally a giant living asteroid. Most of his body is covered with layers of terrain, with various craters and cracks.
The Omnitrix symbol is located on his forehead.
Abilities[]
- Mass & Energy Absorption- Smashteroid can absorb mass and energy for sustenance and to become larger by smashing through planets, but only a little at a time, usually doubling or tripling his size. He absorbs the friction he generates to rocket at Massively faster-than-light speeds.
- Kinetic Thruster Ports- Through clusters of volcanic-like pores across his mass, Smashteroid can rocket through space and use the friction he generates to rocket even faster.
- Multidirectional Control- Smashteroid can also use his pores to change his direction, fire energy out of his mouth and face to reverse or attack, and even stop at a crawl, controlling and absorbing his kinetic energy and momentum.
- Kinetic Smash Blasts- When internalized, he can release his energy through all of his pores in a massive attack of kinetic energy. Used as an Omni-directional attack.
- Nigh Invulnerability- Due to being composed of incredibly strong metal ores and rocks, Smashteroid is tough enough to smash through almost anything. Absorbing enough mass and energy to grow big enough to even destroy planets, just like an actual meteor.
- Pain Insensitivity- Smashteroid cannot feel pain.
- Space Survivability- Because he's a living asteroid, Smashteroid can survive in the vacuum of space.
- Heat Sensing- Smashteroid can sense the heat and energy coming from distant objects lightyears away.
Weaknesses[]
- Momentum Dependency- If Smashteriod stops moving, he'll only be capable of living for a few hours, starved of any immediate kinetic energy.
- Uncontrollable Momentum- Smashteroid is not able to stop once in propelled motion and can only turn off his thrusters for a momentary time.
- Lack of Body- Due to having lack of a body, Smashteroid is unable to move, thus hindering his ability to absorb kinetic energy from building momentum.
- Obsessive Hunger- If he is in the form long enough, he will eventually be deprived of hunger for massive amounts of energy, and if not given, he will slowly perish internally, as his own flight energy he generates is more like feeding off crumbs than an actual meal. But this can take weeks, so it’s not really a problem for him, so long as he keeps moving.
- Low Intelligence- Due to the species having low intelligence, Smashteroid is uncontrollably reckless, causing great amounts of unnecessary collateral damage.
Mythology[]
Spawning from the planet Keplorr long ago, the Chladnileans are genetically related to the Galileans. Having originally been formed around the planet Keplorr, a fraction of Galileans would be thrown out of their space sector by the mass amount of gravitational energy built-up around the planet. While most would find their way back, some would find themselves flung into red supergiant stars before they went supernova. And sadly, many Galileans would commonly perish. But over time, as an evolutionary byproduct of mass amounts of special metals and rocks forming together, some would form near these red stars and evolve differently. Thus forming the Chladnileans, a kinetic energy-propelled mentally mad, raving, but genetically stable species that travel the universe in constant hunger for kinetic energy. No matter how many planets they may need to destroy to survive. However, these planet busters are pretty rare to find. If a Chladnilean ever heads for Keplorr again, the Galileans cannot stop them with their gravikinesis. They can, however, divert them away from their planet, with the Chladnileans showing no interest in turning around. The limit of their speed and durability is unknown. Many Chladnileans have been seen getting lost in hyperspace or flying into Black Holes, never to be seen again.

- Smashteroid's name is a combination of the words "smash" and "asteroid".
- Smashteroid is the smartest and most cognitive Chladnilean alive due to their stunted mental development which caused narrow-mindedness that overtime diminished their ability to communicate, speak, or even think thoughts other than hunger and destruction. The Omnitrix restores these traits similar to Bullfrag and Lank correcting for developmental ailments their species members suffer from.
- The names of Smashteroid's species is a reference to famous Scientific Revolution scientist, Chladni.
- Smashteroid's concept is heavily inspired by the Disasteroid from Danny Phantom, the sentient meteors from Rick and Morty, and Gravattack due to having a convergent relation to him.
