Snapdragon is the Omnitrix's DNA sample of a Ambsithurism from Letany in 5 Years Later.
Appearance[]
Snapdragon has a long, draconic plant body type. His head is a blooming flower with orange petals, and petal-based wings growing off his back. His body comprises twisting vines, and his teeth and claws are made of a thorny wood texture.
The Omnitrix is located in his shoulder and can be seen through his vines.
Abilities[]
- Amber Breath- Snapdragon’s Snapdragon can spit a liquid amber resin that hardens in seconds. If fired from a distance, it solidifies midair, becoming a solid projectile. Once hardened, the amber is strong but can be broken with enough force.
- Plant Physiology- Snapdragon is a plant-based lifeform with a vine-like body and a flower-like head. His boneless structure allows him to bend and flex without pain. He can unfurl his limbs and tail to extend and grab objects, but not his main body. His plant traits give him advantages in natural environments.
- Pomological Production- Snapdragon can eat any fruit and then grow it himself, typically from the end of his tail, at an accelerated rate. He can also modify the fruit to grow in new environments, improve its health benefits, or enhance its flavor.
- Aroma Aura- Snapdragon emits a sweet scent that calms others' nerves, useful for easing tense situations or tricking foes into letting their guard down.
- Plant Sensing- Snapdragon can sense the condition of nearby plant life, whether it's healthy, damaged, or dead. This ability helps him detect problems and gauge the health of the environment.
- Toxic Petals- Snapdragon's colorful petals are highly toxic if ingested. While not intended for combat, this natural defense evolved to deter pests, and it's strongly advised that no one consume them.
- Flight- The petals on Snapdragon's back serve as wings, allowing him to fly. His flexible, bendable body makes him highly agile in the air, enabling him to flip, twist, and maneuver with ease.
- Regeneration- Thanks to his plant biology, Snapdragon can regenerate himself at high speeds.
Weaknesses[]
- Dry Temperatures- Snapdragon requires a lot of water to survive and struggles in dry environments.
- Fire- Snapdragon’s plant body, particularly the petals around his head, is highly flammable, making fire and extreme heat dangerous for him.
- Ice- Frost and extremely low temperatures can easily damage his body.
- Small Spaces- Despite his flexibility, Snapdragon’s large size can limit his ability to navigate small openings.
- Nature Feedback- Snapdragon’s connection to surrounding nature means he can experience feedback if nearby plants are suffering or damaged, potentially stunning him in cases of severe damage.
- Unnatural Toxins & Pollution- A lot of poisons that are not natural can harm Snapdragon’s body, especially forms of pollution that can make him feel sick or uneasy.
Mythology[]
Ambsithurisms live on a bountiful planet, full of plant life everywhere you go, though they mostly live in flower forests, where massive flowers replace trees. They evolved to be sort of protectors of the land, keeping the plant life safe from parasites and pests, mostly insects that they eat. They base their entire culture around their land, and the need to love and care for it, understanding all that mother nature gives them.
This has led them to be quite extreme when it comes to being eco-friendly and being loud and proud of their healthy lifestyle. Often quick to share their advice to those who also want to help with their plants or location. While the Ambsithurisms are wise, peaceful, and beautiful beings, they are not pushovers and will display their power and aggression if something is to mess with them or their land, with a very animalistic fighting style. But if you stay on their good side, they can be gentle giants willing to engage with outsiders, especially to show off trophies or their land.
They share this plant with another sapient race called the Aurideas, bee-like aliens that are very proper, and strive for improvement, having a kingdom-like way of life. Depending on where you are, groups of Ambsithurisms and Aurideas are either at war, stand-offish, peaceful but not interacting much, or have trading systems going on. History is fairly complex for these two races and often debate on the best means of taking care of their planet. Those who get along and make trades with each other are known to share their trading system with outsiders to make more deals and business, mostly with food, such as fruit and honey.
While they have families and friend groups, they live in large communities with one another, to do what is best for their homes and forest, living with the idea that everyone has to pitch in, and everyone should support one another. If one member is ill, then it’s not a rare sight to see others taking their place in the meantime, and pulling extra work, so the other can rest.
