Sonorosia is the home planet of the Sonorosians and the Sanavox from the Ben 10 universe.

Overview

One of the most forgotten planets in its system. Centuries ago, Sonorosia was a thriving, technologically advanced planet, and home to a species called the Olimarans. The Olimarans hyper intelligence and logical mindset enabled them to make amazing breakthroughs in technology, bringing Sonorosia up to a 'level 13' in technology. The Olimaras sold their advanced weaponry and tech off world all over the galaxy, and their devices soon gained a high demand. This led to over harvesting of the planet's resources and pollution, which made it fall to ruin.

After many years of the absence of the Olimarans, two new species became dominant on the plant, the Sonorosians and the Sanavox. The Sanavox are bipedal biomechanical hybrids, essentially living sound waves in a mechanical suit. The Sanavox born when lightning struck leftover Olimaran tech, fusing sound, energy, and tech into a living being.

The Sonorosians were originally the creations of the Olimarans, made as biomechanical workers and slaves. They were built using silicon, which was the planet's most abundant resource that they had the least use for. The Olimarans made a bio-gel bonding agent with silicone rubber to create host bodies that can self duplicate. The silicon bodies were powered with sound waves, due to silicone being an excellent absorber of sound. It was said that the ionized atmosphere effecting the sound waves they absorbed is what led to their sentience. Both species are good friends to one another, trading and helping each other. They live in peace and share stories about the return of their creators.

Landscape

Sonorosia's surface appears to be lifeless, this is due to no signs of flora or bodies of water. The surface is mostly composed of stone and sand. Its structure is filled with canyons and gorges, cutting deep into the mantle of the planet. This causes the planet's gravitational force to be completely imbalanced. Its electromagnetic pull is far stronger than its gravitational pull. This creates a dense ionosphere filled with lightning storms.

Landmarks

The landscape of Sonorosia is mainly broken up into destroyed megacities, large sections of dessert, and then the caverns. Each of the systems of settlements have larger hubs with smaller ones branching out from them.
