Speed Slug is the Omnitrix's DNA sample of a Fluidbranchia from the planet Gelrara in 5 Years Later.
Appearance[]
Speed Slug is a long-bodied slug-like alien resembling nudibranch sea slugs. His skin is purple with blemishes of a darker coloration and yellowish counter-shading with similar coloration blemishing. He has four eyes surrounded by a black mask-like visor, two of which are smaller and placed behind the larger pair. His head has an antenna-like stalk on top and large frills behind them. Speed Slug has eight limbs attached to a wavy structure that goes long the body. Running parallel to this along his dorsal region is a black rubber fabric saddle-like structure. His body ends in a little tail.
The Omnitrix symbol is located on his chest.
Abilities[]
- Enhanced Speed- Speed Slug can manipulate his muscles through compression and release to drastically increase his speed. He is capable of reaching speeds over 160-170 MPH (257-273 KPH).
- Slime Secretion- Speed Slug’s body is covered in a thin translucent slime that allows him to scale surfaces like walls and slip out of tight grips. This also allows him to keep consistent speeds on vertical surfaces.
- Limited Elasticity- Speed Slug is capable of twisting and contorting his body in various ways, enough to stretch his body a few meters.
- Repulsive Corrosive- Speed Slug can emit a gas as a defensive reaction that can heavily irritate the senses of those unlucky enough to come in contact with it as well as corrode any skin or metal when enough time has passed.
Weaknesses[]
- Poor Strength- Speed Slug lacks physical strength compared to most other transformations, having muscles that are specialized more for speed rather than strength.
- Water- Water can be used to wash away Speed Slug's repulsive corrosive before the corrosion takes effect.
- Wind- Strong winds can knock away Speed Slug's repulsive corrosive.
- Fluiditois- The Fluiditois is the natural predator of Speed Slug's species, resembling a giant worm that sprays an extremely harmful liquid enzyme specifically for species from Gelrara.
Mythology[]
The Fluidbranchia are considered a close cousin species to the Fluidozoa on the heavily fogged planet Gelrara. They evolved an advanced muscular system allowing them to move much faster compared to most other slug based organisms on Gelara, as well as having a getaway tool in the form of a gas that can irritate the senses of predators they otherwise would not be able to get away from easily.
They are normally seen hiding or sleeping under large rocks, and using their advanced speed to easily get food and back to their homes in a heartbeat.

- Speed Slug's name is a play on the word "sea slug".
- Speed Slug comes from the same planet as Gastral.
- They are also close genetic relatives to Gastral's species, the Fluidzoa, and are both predated by the same organism, the Fluiditois.
