Subter Manzardill are a species of Manzardill from the planet X'Nelli in the Ben 10 Universe.
Appearance[]
Subter Manzardill are brown bipedal reptilian aliens, standing between two and three foot tall, and resemble salamanders, having smooth striped skin with glowing yellow segments. They are mainly pale colored, having pale white and brown colored, interlaced with black stripes around the glowing spots. They have yellow glowing eyes and short tails.
Females look not much different from males aside from having clean glowing spots, with no additional smaller spots near them. They also lack facial whiskers and have larger eyes.
Abilities[]
- Bioluminescent Pouches — Due to their diet of Bogglow, Subter Manzardill can give off a voluntary bioluminescent glow from the pouches on their backs.
- Night Vision — Their diet of Bogglow allow Subter Manzardill to see perfectly in dark environments.
- Aquatic Respiration — Subter Manzardill are capable of surviving under the deepest parts of the
- ocean.

- Vulnerable to Cold — Being cold-blooded, Subter Manzardill must regularly keep warm.
Society and History[]
Subter Manzardill mainly reside in the caves of the Night Sea. Cold blooded, they keep themselves warm by relying on heat from volcanic vents and glass tappers. Subter Manzardill work symbiotically with the Submar Manzardill during exploration of their shared deep sea, the Submar keep them warm, while the Subter light the way for the larger Manzardill.
The Subter Manzardill primarily feed on a bioluminescent fungus known as Bogglow, this gives them their glowing features.

- The Subter Manzardill are the most underdeveloped of the Manzardill species, having no teeth, frail bones, weak muscles, an underdeveloped hypothermus, and lower cerebral function in comparison to their fellow Manzardill.
