Waterspout is the Omnitrix's DNA sample of a Hydrosapien from the moon Aegaeon III in 5 Years Later.
Appearance[]
Waterspout is a mass of water projecting out of the five vents of his spherically-shaped anti-gravity projector, in which he can use it to change shape at will. His most common form is a humanoid shape, but he can alter it in a variety of ways due to being made entirely of liquid water. His anti-gravity projector is green, black, and white.
The Omnitrix symbol is located on his chest.
Abilities[]
- Hydrokinesis – Waterspout can control any form of water, whether from his body, or otherwise.
- Shapeshifting – Waterspout can morph any part of his liquid body into any shape desirable.
- Enhanced Swimming – Waterspout can easily swim in deep bodies of water without need of antigravity projector.
Equipment[]
- Anti-Gravity Projector – Waterspout's antigravity projector lets him change his shape, length, width, and height at will. It can also provide Waterspout an unlimited supply of water.
Weaknesses[]
- Extreme Temperatures – Waterspout can evaporate in temperatures up to 212° F or higher, and they turn to solid ice in temperatures down to 20° F or lower.
- Lack of Anti-Gravity Projector – Waterspout cannot survive outside a deep body of water without an antigravity projector, which is usually in their torso region, so if it’s destroyed on land, they cannot regenerate.
Mythology[]
Hydrosapiens live on the water moon, Aegaeon III, which on the surface, is home to violent storms, completely covered in an endless ocean. Underneath said ocean is a large and beautiful coral reef that is home to various sea life native to the water moon. The dominant species, Hydrosapiens, are genderless bodies of living water composed of small algae-like cells that make up their liquid bodies. They swim and float around the oceans of their home, living their lives among the rest of the sea creatures that dwell among them.
Hydrosapiens can live up to 3,000 years, and when their time comes to die, their bodies disperse into bubbles, leaving only their souls to leave their home to join their ancestors in the skies above the surface, which they refer to as the "Great Beyond". Very few Hydrosapiens have attempted to leave their home and return, but those who have would often tell stories that some of their kind consider to be myths and legends.
Only on rare occasions will the Hydrosapiens get visitors who arrive and depart from their homeworld. The last known recorded visitor who came to their homeworld was an old Galvan scientist who came to acquire their DNA for a secret project the universe would later come to be known as the Omnitrix. Once he left, there haven't been any more recorded visitors to Aegaeon III since then.
